I’m Emma Pocklington, a wildlife journalist and writer. I am an Editor at Our Media, working across a suite of titles for the RSPB. As well as the flagship quarterly publication The RSPB Magazine, which is mailed out to over 500,000 people, I also edit five regular RSPB newsletters and a range of youth magazines: Wild Times for under 7s, Wild Explorer for 8–12s and Wingbeat for 13+.
As well as print publications, I am responsible for creating and curating the RSPB’s digital magazine, which I launched with my team in 2023.
Outside of my full time role I have written for BBC Wildlife Magazine and Countryfile Magazine.
